Homecoming Game Recap:
The Silver Creek Raptors football team have hit the ground running by starting the season off 3-2. The annual homecoming game against the Frederick Warriors was highlighted by an onslaught of offensive and defensive dominance. With their 42-7 win, the Raptors are looking strong for the 2017 season. Senior quarterback, Collin Black threw for 251 yards with 3 total touchdowns, his best performance of the season. Collin has certainly stepped up after being in a backup role last season. Running back Andreik Knechtel also rushed for an impressive 90 yards and 3 total touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, Rex Olinger led the way with 10 total tackles. Along with Christian Adams’s interception, the defense held the Warriors to only 7 points.
