Boys Cross Country
The beginning of the cross country season started with long workouts and months later, every second of practice, work, and determination will be tested. Seniors Zack Beckwith, Brock Dykema, Logan Simmington, Elliot Cassidy, and Jamie Lee will be running state for their last time. The boys cross country teams’ efforts have paid off in order to get this far, coming in an impressive third place finish in Colorado 4A, just behind Palmar Ridge and Centaurus. Brock Dykema had a 2nd place finish with an astonishing time of 15:56.4 in the 5k, and Jamie Lee finished in fourth with a time of 15:58.9, just one tenth of a second behind the third place runner. Our team will continue on running in the NXR Southwest Regional Championships down in Arizona on November 18th. We can’t wait to see our Raptors run for gold!
