Behind the Madrigal

Behind the scenes of “The Madrigal” , we see how students work around the influential play that sells out in a matter of a few days! As we look behind the works, we see that Symphonic Orchestra and Choir all contribute to this performance. We interview the crew for the play and we got some really good insight on the background of the play!

The Madrigal is a whole concert mostly made up of choir students. All choirs perform, including Women's ensemble, Bella Voce, and Men’s ensemble. Instead of having a typically concert, the choir has the Royal Madrigal Feast. All performers dress up as if they were from the renaissance era. Mr. Skelton, the choir director, is in charge of the Madrigal. He says, “2002 was the first year ever doing the Madrigal. It takes a lot of work to put the Madrigal so I think they’re excited. ” Since the first Madrigal, it has grown tremendously in size as well as popularity.
