The regular football season is coming to an end, and this year there have multiple losses that have shocked the nation and huge rivalry wins. It may shock people to see the number one Crimson Tide from Alabama hold the rankings up until the College Football Playoff Committee(CFP) decided that Alabama would hold the number two spot to the Georgia Bulldogs. The rankings of the season have shifted quite often, but it has surprised many people to see that there have been some unexpected contenders in the top ten teams. People should be watching in the upcoming weeks to see bowl selection and to see where teams will end in their rankings. There are also contenders for the Heisman Trophy for the best players of the football season. Bowl games will start while most students are on winter break and will continue through New Years. The College Football National Championship game will be on January 8, 2018, and it will be held at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
So far, the 2017 NCAA football season has had a good run and hopefully, the basketball season will be just as exciting to watch. Soon to come are some crazy basketball games to kick off the season with your favorite players. Even if you don’t watch that much NCAA, then maybe it’s time to get into it and find out who your favorite players and teams are. Although, college football is going into it's playoff season, it should be on every person’s radar to want to watch some competitive bowl games. Basketball will continue through the winter and hopefully, March, as always, will be full of Madness.
