Depending on how much time and money you want to spend, some options are more suitable than others. Even though we have around a 45-minute lunch, sometimes it feels much shorter. Most of the time we are all in a hurry to get food, and we do not want to sit down and eat. Taking food “to-go” is most common because we can eat it in the car when we get back to school. It takes around 6-7 minutes to get to most of the restaurants, so we normally have plenty of time, but some students get to lunch later than others. Places like Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and Inta Juice are drive-thru’s, which makes it fast and convenient. All other restaurants are sit-down, but can be taken to-go.

Silver Creek students find joy in going out to lunch with their friends and eating the diverse selections of food around the area. Honestly, most of us cannot wait to get out of class so we can enjoy something we do not have to stress about. Because these places are close, it makes it more convenient so we can sit and eat and talk to our friends longer. Some students go out to lunch by themselves, but most go to lunch with their friends, which makes it more enjoyable. Lunch is supposed to be a time when can take a break from our crazy day and just relax.
