Lunch Bunch

Food, food, glorious food. Lunch is an important meal of everybody’s day. At Silver Creek, upperclassmen are allowed to leave campus for lunch, but the underclassmen are not. Because we are located in the middle of Longmont, there is a wide variety of places to eat. Students at Silver Creek generally target places that are fast, cheap, and filling for their 45 minute lunch, which somehow only feels like 20 minutes. Almost all of the upperclassmen choose to eat off campus, which causes a jam in the school parking lot, and long lines at all the restaurants. We will be discussing some of the best student- friendly restaurants Silver Creek students should consider, and also the most popular restaurants us students choose to eat at.

Some places that you can go include; Noodles and Company, Wendy’s, Starbucks, Inta Juice, King Soopers, and many more. Those are only a few of the restaurants near Silver Creek, and are also a few of the most popular. We listed some of the most popular, cheapest, most convenient, best serviced, and least popular restaurants located near our school. |

There are two lunch times at Creek; one is A lunch at 10:38-11:15am, and the second is B lunch at 12:15-12:52pm. We all have to wake up relatively early (around 6-7am) and having a lunch that is early (like A lunch), is an awkward but good time because it is three to four hours after we have eaten breakfast. Having B lunch, which is almost another hour later, is a long ways away from when we ate breakfast. Generally people do not eat lunch in the morning, so restaurants are not crowded, but during B lunch there are long lines and a lot of waiting. Some people complain about how early A lunch is and some complain about how late B lunch is, but it all depends on how much you ate in the morning.
