Chess Club
If you are interested in mastering strategy, winning against opponents, and learning about the game of chess, Chess Club needs more members! What is currently a club of two meets every Tuesday from 2:30-3:30 in Ms.Rubino’s classroom. Every meeting is spent learning about the game and getting better at capturing the pieces from your opponent. We asked David Demers about his experience with the club.
What is the goal of your club?
“To promote the fun of chess playing.”
What is your favorite thing about chess club?
“Having someone to play with because my family doesn’t like spending time with me.”
How is your club different?
“We play chess and we constantly try to make eachother better competitors.”
