Baseball:

To start the season the boys swept the Cougars of Niwot. On the Mound for the Raptors was Junior Cole Winn who is ranked #1 out of all pitchers in the state of Colorado. As usual,he pitched a gem only giving up 3 hits, to go along with Winn´s pitching the bats were popping. Senior Junior Ramirez went 2 for 3 hitting leadoff for the raptors. Winn lead the cougars to only 3 hits as the raptors went to win 5-3.

Athlete Spotlight: Cole Winn is a junior at Silver Creek High School but most students know him has the the dominant pitcher for the baseball team. Winn recently committed to the University of Mississippi State to play baseball. When asked about his commitment, this is all he had to say, “Thank you to everyone who was apart of it and helped me make my decision.” Cole understands that school comes first, after completing last semester with a 3.9 GPA. We all wish Cole the best of luck with the rest of the season and with his baseball career, which is far from over. Cole currently has a 0.94 Era and is currently 5-0.

Girls Soccer:

The girls Soccer team has started the season out strong as they have beat Skyline 2-0. In the same week they played a tough Golden team and came out with a 2-0 win.
