EMMANUEL MACRON The French President may be in news for his pro-business policies and his unusual marriage, but on 27 August 2017 returning home from his summer break, President Macron and his wife went to an animal shelter SPA and adopted a black labrador retiever- griffon crossbreed. The President named him Nemo after a character in one of his favourite novels, twenty thousand leagues under the sea. 24 WINSTON CHURCHILL The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom at the time of world war II was an animal lover. He kept a variety of creatures on his estate but the favorite was his bulldog named Dodo. Jock Colville presented Churchill with his last cat called Jock on his 88th birthday and Churchill made provision in the Chartwell National Trust that it would always house a cat called Jock. RAHUL GANDHI DONALD TRUMP The recent addition to the White House is a fluffy ball of a dog that has been named Patton after President Trump’s favorite general from World War II. Patton is a Goldendoodle. Before the adoption, there were rumors that there might be no first dog in the White House.
