• Toronto Smartphone Film Festival - Founded in 2012 as the Arirang Korea
Smartphone Film Festival (AKSFF), geared towards Korean culture. It evolved into the
more inclusive Toronto Smartphone Film Festival (TSFF) in 2014.
• Mobile Film Festival - Held in Paris, this festival’s unique concept is based on
three simple rules: 1 Mobile • 1 Minute • 1 Film. Each year has a new theme.
• Cinephone International Smartphone Shortfilm Festival - Based in
Spain. Submissions are accepted from January 1 to August 31 each year, and the rules
are pretty simple.
• The Original iPhone Film Festival - Based in the US, this one is strictly for
films shot on iOS.
• iPhone Film Festival - This festival has been supporting international mobile
filmmakers since 2010. Despite the name, it is not exclusive to iOS films.
• International Mobil Film Festival - Based in San Diego, it accepts films shot
on any mobile phone.
