One of the most fascinating words I learnt and loved at school when I was a child is "Humus". I was inspired by the concept of Humus as a symbol of Nature's conservation, spontaneous aggregation and transformation. The root "hum", which appears in both human and humus, means 'of the earth'. "We have forgotten that we come from the Earth and we will go back to Earth", said Satish Kumar (Indian activist, pacifist and editor of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine) during the presentation of his new book “Soil, soul and society"

Humus is the nourishing venter where consciousness manifest in the visible world. We are responsible for the other beings we connect with and the planet we live in. There is so much that has been violated and so much that needs to be protected. "Life is a circle and we as common people are created to stand within it and not on it. I am not just of the past but I am the past. I am here. I am now and I will be for tomorrow." said an ancient Lakota quote.

Unity is possible through the reconciliation with Anima Mundi (the soul of the world). At Humus 4 Change we believe that we are all connected and together we have the power to co-create a better world, sharing our stories and examples about: "how we can be the change" towards a sustainable, ethical lifestyle and peaceful coexistence on the planet. We understand that nothing can grow or evolve without movement.

We believe in a return to Harmony through a reconciliation among arts, science and spirituality. We believe in this simple principle: SHARE + INSPIRE + EDUCATE = CHANGE Human beings are more willing to share when we feel involved and we take responsibilities for the people and environment we connect with. We believe that the best way to create new values is getting inspired one with another, letting go our boundaries, embracing our vulnerabilities and reclaiming our divine being honoring the wisdom of our ancestors and preserving traditional cultures worldwide.
