The pair wanted to find a platform for local mums in business to showcase their goods and services at an affordable price. So many people are working and selling online these days, that the market is is a chance for the public to come along and talk to people face to face.

Stall holders get the chance to show off their products and talk about the services that they offer.

Another important aspect is that it has give mums in buisness the oppourtunity to network with each other. It has been exciting to watch the collaborations develop.

This month they are encouraging Whangarei to shop local! With Chirstmas just around the corner the November market is a great chance for people to start their Christmas shopping.

Buying off local businesses means that the money goes back into our community.

The Collective Marketplace attracts a broad range of businesses – fashion, beauty, health and fitness, children’s wear and a number of food stalls.
