The atmosphere was relaxed . Friendly faces and no expectations . I don ’ t know whether it felt like I was home , or just noticing the ease of taking three kids to the markets now our little one is bigger . We agreed it was the perfect family day out .
Beautifully painted faces walked toward us , beaming from ear to ear . The lines were short and the wait small , worth every cent apparently .
Master eight had no idea what to spend his money on , so he used it across the road . Maybe fewer options for a young boy looking to buy , but I ’ m sure this is not the target market and food always goes down best .
A couple of hours flew past so we stopped for a well deserved high five as we left , not realising how long we had made it with small happy people in tow .
At the Old Packhouse Market you will find good , honest , farm fresh products plus value added produce , fabulous artisan breads and pastries , delicious street food , great coffee and music . The Old Packhouse Market is also a good place to purchase gifts from a wide range of talented Arts and Crafts stallholders .
There is a cashout facility on site and plenty of parking . No dogs allowed . The markets run from 8AM - 1:30PM .
