In another lifetime she was a counsellor. With a wealth of qualifications and experience behind her, she allowed people to pour their hearts out.
Now she captures those emotions forever.
Jessica Donovan-Maddox from JDM Photography got her first camera as a child. Having to pay for developing from her own pocket money meant her resources were limited. She had to always make sure every photo she took had a meaning.
“It’s something that has carried through to my work today,” says the busy mum-of-four. “I make sure every image has been taken for a reason.”
Jessica left her former life behind to pursue her love of photography a few years ago. With three children and another one on the way she decided life couldn’t get more hectic, so threw in owning a business to the mix as well.
And all of her clients are thankful she did!
