CORINNE AUSTIN, FITFIX

I've been keeping something to myself, I'm not quite sure why...? I think there's a part of me that would perhaps feel a little guilty for sharing something when I know there's other out there struggling with the very thing I was once struggling with..

But a friend suggested I share away in the knowledge that I could maybe help at least one other.

The news... I JUST FEEL SO FLIPPIN WELL!! Like I had no idea how well one could feel. It just feels AMAZEBALLS 🙈💗💜💙💚😃

About two years ago (July 2015) I decided to clean up my act. I had been meandering along at what I thought was a healthy level for a decent while, and I felt I should step it up a notch. For me. For my kids. And to just simply see how much better my life and health could be.

When I THOUGHT I was fit and healthy I also had:

- Raging anxiety

- A racing heart

- Frequent heart palpitations

- A constant sore throat (for months)

- Wakeful nights

- Twitching muscles

- Very low morning energy

- Poor recovery from exercise

- Extreme sugar cravings

- Foggy thinking and forgetfulness

- PCOS and very irregular periods

- Dry, flakey, bumpy skin

- Irritability

- Irrational thought patterns

- Stubborn belly fat

- Impatience

- A rush rush rush lifestyle

- A need for hard core exercise

- Bloating and gripey stomach

...the list could go on. But I feel you're getting a good picture.

I guess I was originally inspired by Dr Libby and Ben Warren and the philosophies and thoughts that they brought to light.

My first step was going off the contraceptive pill - I no longer felt comfortable feeding my body synthetic chemicals that would confuse it into thinking it was pregnant when in fact I wasn't. I wanted to let my hormones naturally do what they needed to do.... and that was step 1.

There have been MANY other steps I've taken along the way, but one of the most important and most valuable was signing up with Kaizen Exercise Physiologists and their Institute of Health and being a student in their Advanced Health Coaching programme.

This opened me up to a whole new level of thinking about and dealing with my health. Like seriously mind-blowing stuff 😵😳🤗

And I currently feel SO WELL. Like SO WELL. Like I just want to shout it from the rooftops well. You don't know what you haven't got until you've got it back. EVERYTHING just feels so free and easy - it's just beautiful 👌

There'll be more on this later in the week, but for now I just want you to know that you are meant to feel well - like ALL the time. You shouldn't have symptoms of any sort - they are your bodies messengers trying to communicate something with you.

I dare you to challenge your own level of health, know that there is something greater out there, and know that it is most definitely within reach. It's all about acknowledging that change needs to happen. And you are SO worth that change 😊❤️

Because your health is your most valuable asset xx
