MATERIALS: • Clothes Pins (50-100) • Paint • Paint Brushes • Wire Wreath • Ribbon • Hot Glue DIRECTIONS: 1. Clip the unpainted clothespins to the wreath to measure how many fit. It should be about 70 (since not every wire wreath and clothespin are identical, the total number needed might be different). 2. Take a minute and plan out your design. Separate clothespins and count how many red, white, and blue pins you will need. Label them if you need to. We used 30 red, 30 white, and 12 blue. 3. Start painting! Paint your pins with 1-2 coats. When you have your assembly line of red, white, and blue clothespins it’s pretty simple. Paint the blue pins with white and gold stars. Add sparkle to every other white pin with silver glitter. 4. Time to assemble! Pick a starting point, choose either red or white to start with, and then clip your pins on your wreath. 5. Next, hot glue the tips of any loose clothespins to the wreath to secure them. Consider gluing the entire side of the pin to the top, making the pin pop-out more when hanging. You can switch every pin other to add dimension as well. 6. Cut a 17”-18” piece of ribbon, and glue it to the back wire part of the wreath. Create a loop and glue both ends of the ribbon to the same place. 7. All finished! Hang indoors or outdoors and you’re set! 38
