4. “Queen for a Day” Meal Prep Service Give mom the day off from prepping and cooking meals! Pick a recipe for each meal of the day and make all of the ingredients ahead of time. Some items can be frozen and then thawed for the big day. Then on Mother’s Day, simply reheat or throw the items into the slow cooker so that she can enjoy the day without worrying about what to feed the family. 5. Create Handprint, Footprint and Fingerprint Art Here are some great ideas for hand and footprint art, but don’t just stop there! Get some plain white or wood frames, and have the kids stamp their fingerprints to make polka dot and striped one of a kind art pieces for mom or grandma! 6. DIY Mom Emergency Kit Gather up some of mom’s favorites and put them in a tackle box or similar container. Add her favorite​​chocolates and snacks, a few toiletry items, a mini​​sewing kit and BandAids.​She can keep this near her bedside, in the car or in her office. Open only during emergencies! 14
