Mystery Skype

Time: Prior to actual Mystery Skype Meeting

Duration: 30-45 min

Goal: To find out the location of the other class using 20

questions or more (depending on time constraints)

•Each class prepares 20 yes/no- questions to ask the other class and 4

clues to give the other class in advance (suggestions below).

• When connected one class asks 5 questions and if the others can't

figure out the answer they get a clue.

Students use devices to search for information on their location

• Then it's the other class' turn to do the same.

• The classes takes turns asking until the 20 questions are up -then

they can tell each other where they are.

giving away the location

Question Keepers - keep track of the questions and answers

OneNote or Google documents for collaborative feature

Mappers - use atlas, Google maps, etc. to zero in on the clues

camera or photos
