YOU STUDIED ABROAD, DID YOU HAVE ANY CHALLENGES
TRYING TO BLEND WITH THE AFRICAN SOUND?
hmmm at rst yes, I remember when I came
to Nigeria in 2011, people were like oh your
music is not Nigerian, Oh! you have to add
this, put lamba, there were a lot of talks about
‘lamba’ that you have give them lamba.
Eventually when I nished school in 2014
and came back to Nigeria fully, had to switch
up the sound a lil bit and dropped about 2
street song.
WHAT ARE YOUR CHALLENGES IN YOUR PURSUIT AND
HOW DID YOU GO ABOUT SOLVING THEM?
Anything you want to do and be successfull,
there will be challenges. I thank God they’ve
come but the ‘koko’ with this job we do is
for people to love and accept you and thats
always the challenge till you blow. For me
I'm working hard so people can appreciate
I do.
DO YOU GET ANY COMMENTS IN REGARDS TO YOUR
MUM HELPING YOUR CAREER OR YOU MOVING FORWARD
BECAUSE OF YOUR MUM’S (BUKKY WRIGHT) INFLUENCE?
Yes! I hear a lot of comments but I don't
let it bother me though because I'm all
about the music, trying to make good music
and trying to make people feel good.
