Going beyond campus, students and teachers utilized local resources. Students visited the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Charles Wright Museum of African American History, the National Arab American Museum, the Holocaust Memorial Center, the Detroit Zoo, and the Henry Ford Museum and Rouge Factory. Each of these visits enhanced and enriched classroom experiences.
