Innovative and Design Thinking initiatives:
Three projects were selected for to have their experiments taken into space on a sounding rocket as part of NASA’s Cubes in Space program.
3 D printing and computer coding incorporated into our art, science, and math classes.
Developed the MSG Collaboratory, a fully equipped maker space that allows students to utilize Design Thinking and hands-on-learning. Maker Mondays, meets twice monthly to focus on hands-on learning.
Celebrated six years as the host site and major sponsor of Exploraton – a STEM career expo for girls. Explorathon brings over 400 girls from across Metro-Detroit to the GMS.
