Barbara Alexander Chef Barbara Alexander, or “Chef B,” is a professional chef and culinary explorer who specializes in guiding serendipitous excursions of culinary delights. She brings a humorous synergy of education, knowledge and experience to the table, peppered with stories of her professional kitchen, travel experiences, and an appreciation for an enriching cultural experience. Chef B trained in Vancouver, Canada, then honed her craft in London. She’s run pedigree hotel kitchens & Michelin level restaurants in Vancouver and Sydney, and she has been a culinary educator with the Dubrulle French Culinary School in Vancouver. She has also managed the kitchens at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, Napa Valley and served a 16-year stint as culinary director of the lauded Napa Valley Cooking School. She’s is currently a consultant for the Culinary Institute of America and traveling chef with Craftours.
