“ The Stikine River salmon filling these cans were caught by the Lazy J out of Craig , Alaska and were some of the largest and fattiest they ’ d ever seen .” As a lifelong connoisseur of hot smoked salmon , I am not being hyperbolic when I say that I was absolutely bowled over by the quality of this smoked Coho . No wonder , seeing as how they source the fish from family owned fishing operations . And , the fact that the ladies of Salmon Sisters donate one can of salmon to the Food Bank of Alaska for every item they sell makes this company .
