1 ½ oz. bourbon
½ oz. falernum
½ oz. lime juice
½ oz. ginger syrup*
candied ginger chunk & grains of paradise, to gar-
nish if desired.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and fill with ice.
Shake to chill, strain into an iced rocks glass. Gar-
nish with candied ginger chunk and grains of
paradise.
Ginger Syrup:
Combine 1 cup of boiling ginger juice with 1 cup of
sugar. Fine strain the mixture to remove all of the
particulates.
Boozy pops have a softer set than their
non-alcoholic counterparts; for that rea-
son, you’ll want to use bags (zip or tie-off)
and not popsicle molds. Trust me here.
