Waffatopia, Gingerbread • $33+
Which is going to get you on the “nice” list? Gin-
gerbread men or warm Liege waffles made with
yeast-fermented, brioche-style pastry dough laced
with gingerbread spice and caramelized bits of Bel-
gian pearl sugar? Duh! These waffles need no top-
pings, but they do look sweet with a sprinkle of pow-
dered sugar. If you haven’t experienced Waffatopia,
you need to get on that train! I won’t be happy until
I’ve featured every Waffatopia flavor and the fact
that the owners, Andrea and Brian Polizzi are so
stinking nice should make you feel even better about
supporting this small business.
