Vermont Spirits, one of Vermont’s oldest distilleries, if not the oldest, distills whey—the lactose-rich liquid that separates from curds during the cheese-making process—from Vermont milk to produce White Vodka. The result is a slightly sweet spirit with a velvety mouthfeel. White Vodka is thoroughly enjoyable neat and in cocktails, but if you are looking for something that makes you feel as queer as a clockwork orange—depend- ing on the strain you use, of course—I recommend you try it in the Jet Cham- ber on page 113 of Cannabis Cocktails, Mocktails, & Tonics.
