ALLEY 6 86’D CANDY CAP BITTERS • $20 Alley 6 founders Krystle and Jason Jorgensen are devoted forag- ers—heck, they’re even members of the Mycological Society of America, so it’s no surprise that they’ve combined their passions for distilling and wild ingredients to create Candy Cap Bitters. Al- ley 6 combines foraged Candy Cap mushrooms (once dried, these sweet mushrooms smell of maple syrup!) and baking spices to Alley 6’s base rye spirit, and the non-potable bitter is left to age in oak.
