Kimberly Buchmier, CR3 President

2011 Non-small cell adenocarcinoma

Home tested at 29.8 picocuries

I found out that high levels of radon cause lung cancer AFTER I was diagnosed. I was very upset that nobody told us to check for radon when we built our house years before my diagnosis. I knew nothing about radon! I feel that we should be asked about testing our homes for radon on medical questionnaires and all real estate transactions

We lost our 7 yr old dog to cancer the same year I was diagnosed. He had a tumor in his chest/shoulder area. He spent most of his time in our basement where our bedroom, TV room, and the room he stayed in when we were gone.
