MAKING A DIFFERENCE ...

Yes, that is what all of us do, whether it is speaking in front of groups –large or small—community or government—medical or industry--as we educate, inform, or persuade others to take action against radon.

This year we have grown in numbers and in the states represented. We have met others who are dedicated to radon reduction and radon-induced lung cancer prevention while we shared our stories in our booths at conferences throughout the nation. We try to get other lung cancer organizations to educate others about the danger of living, working, and attending school in environments with elevated levels of radioactive radon gas. We share the news of radon on facebook and most recently in our CR3 News Electronic Magazine which travels throughout the world. We have participated in a pilot program for the past two years that enabled volunteers to take advantage of free radon testing devices.

We have participated in walks and runs for lung cancer awareness and prevention. We have spoken to legislators educating and encouraging them on actions they can take to help save lives from lung cancer due to radon exposure. We have created radon brochures and distributed 25,000 throughout the nation. We have been in PA, TN, NV, OR, IL, KS, FL, MO, DC, MI, MA, WI, LA, NE, and GA with our messages.

Yes, we have done a lot of good thanks to those generous contributors and sponsors this year. There are still millions of people who don’t know what radon is, what it can do, or if it is in their homes, schools, or workplaces. We want to continue to make a difference and include you in our crusade also. You can make a difference with a donation large or small. We believe in what we are doing and many of our expenses we pay ourselves, but this can’t continue forever. WE know with YOUR continued support, we can all make a difference!
