Belson Construction is owned and operated by Mike Stansbury. He will be at every job, completing the work. Mr. Stansbury is a United States Navy Veteran who served on board the U.S.S Dwight D. Eisenhower; CVN- 69, and the U.S.S Theodore Roosevelt; CVN- 71.
After being honorably discharged from the U.S Navy, Mr. Stansbury completed culinary school and worked as a chef for a few years before entering into the radon mitigation field, where he worked with one of the first certified radon mitigators in Maryland for four years. Mr. Stansbury's knowledge of construction and the home improvement business started as a teen; however, as he grew up working with his grandfather in the construction field since he was 14 years old.
Mr. Stansbury was born in Baltimore and has lived in Maryland his whole life, minus his time in the military. He is married and has two children. Belson Construction was named after his children, as the name is their two names combined. Mr. Stansbury is a true family man, who spends most of his time at home, when he is not working. When he is not at home, you can probably find him kayaking down a river somewhere, pretending he is still in the Navy. He loves to hunt and has a passion for cooking.
Mr. Stansbury completed the National Radon Mitigation Proficiency Program (NRPP) at Rutgers University in New Jersey in January, 2015. He is also a professional member of The American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST).
