Ecobuild unveils new plans for 2016
New Eurocell website
simplifies specification
Ecobuild has unveiled exciting new plans to take it to the next phase
of business growth and reinforce the brand’s position at the centre of
the UK building industry for more than 11 years.
Designed to act as a resource-rich and time-saving tool for busy
construction professionals, the new Eurocell website has a wealth of
features to make specifying windows, doors and roofline quicker and
easier.
Part of UBM Built Environment, Ecobuild is the leading UK exhibition
and conference event in the UK construction calendar, inspiring over
40,000 industry professionals from across the entire supply chain to
interact with over 800 exhibitors.
Building on research findings that manufacturers need to make more
information readily available to specifiers, the new site includes
windows BIM models, an interactive Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) video and template specifications to download, to
name but a few features.
Alison Jackson, Group Director for UBM EMEA Built Environment
Exhibitions said: “Ecobuild will continue to be the most innovative and
leading event on the construction calendar. This enduring brand has
been updated and modernised for today’s market challenges whilst
reflecting Ecobuild’s continued success in the construction industry.”
Eurocell has created a dedicated ‘resources hub’ within the Specifier
section of the site, so all materials are easily accessible from one
place. Also included in the hub are range CAD drawings, product data
sheets, copies of BBA Certificates, Building Regulations summaries
and example case studies.
Following a survey of 2,500 exhibitors and visitors as well as input
from focus groups. Ecobuild 2016 will feature a new improved show
layout, increased capacity conference arena and three learning hubs
covering industry trends and issues in Design, Zero Carbon and Energy. In addition, two unique inspirational features showcasing innovation and smart buildings will create a wow factor and allow visitors
to touch, feel and learn about the future of the construction industry.
The user can drill down into each section to get all the information
required for any project. The resources hub offers downloadable PDF’s
that provide all the technical information required in a series of sample
specifications designed to cover most typical applications.
Alison Jackson added: “UBM Built Environment has unrivalled access
to data, senior construction leaders and speakers. We are very excited about revealing a mouth-watering speaker line-up and stunning
new state-of-the-art features never seen to date in the UK.”
