Ecobuild 2014 Visitors blown away by ISO-Chemie at Ecobuild 2014 One of Europe’s leading producers of foam sealant tapes ISO-Chemie (Stand N1220/21) will be blowing hot and cold at Ecobuild 2014 as it takes an innovative approach to demonstrating the benefits of its products. The company will have an interactive display incorporating air guns similar to those used for spray painting for stand visitors to see the air tightness advantages of the ISO BLOCO One and test out its sealing qualities for themselves. ISO-BLOCO One foam sealing tape - available with a 10 year performance guarantee - enables installers to easily seal windows from inside the building, avoiding the need to use time consuming and costly external access systems like scaffolding and ladders. It offers a single ‘fit and forget’ solution for fast and effective sealing based around the European RAL principles of three level sealing - the inside seal area is more airtight than the external one, allowing any trapped moisture inside the joint, or within the wall, to escape outwards rather than into the building. Quick and easy-to-apply, the self adhesive ISO-BLOCO One provides a high performance seal for window and door joints up to 30mm wide and is impermeable to driving rain at a minimum of 1,000 Pa - 66% higher reliability than most conventional joint sealing tapes. Also featured on the stand will be a sound reduction demonstration to show how sealing tapes can vastly reduce the noise that travels through joints in the building construction compared with other commonly used materials, making life more comfortable for occupants. Peter Thompson, General Manager UK for ISO-Chemie, said that in addition to enabling first hand practical product demonstrations, Ecobuild continues to be an important platform to showcase sealing solutions for the sustainable design, construction and built environment. “The message is ‘Why get stuck in the past?’ when customers and endusers can do things better with latest sealing technology from comapnies like ISO-Chemie. “We can prove how we can assist the industry to meet energy saving standards, without harming the environment. We offer a number of products that do exactly this, suitable for renovation, new build, self build and even Passivhaus. “So if you are struggling for new solutions to meet new standards, get in contact to see how we can help.” STAND: N1220/21 Saint-Gobain returns to Ecobuild Saint-Gobain, world leader in the habitat and construction markets, is bringing its building solutions and expertise back to Ecobuild, the biggest industry show of the year. The exhibition has long been recognised as the reference for industry professionals to learn about the latest in innovative designs and solutions for sustainable building. The highlight of the Saint-Gobain stand will be the seminar theatre, which will play host to a series of topical seminars, designed to address key issues facing the industry today. The hourly seminar sessions will be led by prolific industry bodies including Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), Zero Carbon Hub (ZCH) and the Passivhaus Trust. The session topics include ECO & Green Deal, Multi-comfort Buildings, Delivering Low Energy Homes, Training and Salford University’s Energy House, which will be led by academics from Salford University and Leeds Metropolitan University. In addition to the seminar theatre, the stand will showcase solutions for retrofit and new build. The Training Demonstration area will focus on external wall insulation (EWI) and internal wall insulation (IWI). Richard Halderthay, Director of Communications for Saint-Gobain UK, Ireland & South Africa, said, “We are very excited about this year’s Ecobuild show and we look for ݅ɐ)Ѽ
