CPABC has held several significant events and released major public policy initiatives. The CPABC Member Engagement Tour occured from October 3 to November 29. The CPABC 2017 Fall Pacific Summit included panel discussions about the labour skills mismatch in BC, the recruitment and retention issues, the importance of collaborating with post-secondary institutions, and the need for training and mentorship. The 2017 CPABC Business Outlook Survey measures CPABC members’ opinions on key economic and business issues, and assesses economic growth and business optimism. CPABC continues to lend its voice to the public policy discussion regarding tax competitiveness and the importance of improving business productivity.
