A member holding an audit licence is authorized to
provide any public accounting services and any
other regulated services, subject to any applicable
standards, limits, or conditions established by the
board for providing such services.

• Tax advisory and compliance

Review
Licence
A member holding a review licence is authorized to
provide*:
a) Any public accounting services, except the
performance of an audit engagement or the
issuance of an auditor’s report; and
b) Any other regulated services.
• Review engagements
• Specified procedures such as Law
Society and Real Estate Council
Reports
• Compilation engagements
• Tax advisory and compliance
services
*Subject to any applicable standards, limits, or
conditions established by the board for providing
such services.
Compilation
Licence
A member holding a compilation licence is
authorized to provide*:
a) Any public accounting services, except
i. the performance of an audit, review, or other
assurance engagement, or the issuance of an
auditor’s report, a review engagement report,
or another assurance report, or
ii. the performance of a specified procedures
engagement or the issuance of a specified
procedures engagement report; and
b) Any other regulated services.

• Tax advisory and compliance
services

conditions established by the board for providing
such services.

licence is authorized to provide other regulated
services, subject to any applicable standards, limits,
