CPABC in Focus is the premier way to reach BC’s professional accounting community. CPABC in Focus is published in British Columbia six times a year, and is sent to more than 33,000 CPA members, candidates, and students.

The Chartered Professional Accountants' Education Foundation of BC, CPAEF, hosted its biennial symposium for accounting educators. The event was attended by more than 100 accounting faculty members from post secondary institutions across BC. The CPAEF held its annual general meeting on the second day of the symposium. Outgoing chair Chris Burnley, FCPA, FCA, a professor of Vancouver Island University, Lynda Carson, FCPA, FCGA, and public representative Colleen Collins, PhD, vice-president of Canada West Foundation, completed their terms of service. Brenda Waechter, FCPA, FCGA, principal of Waechter & Co., is the new CPAEF chair. Keri Norrie, FCPA,FCA, CGA, chair of the accounting & information systems department at Camosun College, and Brad Sakich, FCPA, FCA, BC leader for PwC's Private Company Services, are now CPAEF governors. Maxine DeHart, councillor of the City of Kelowna, is the CPAEF board's public representative.
