Inner Harbour moorings: Review Inner Harbour swinging mooring provision and potential relocation of
yachts as a result of proposed Victoria Marina development. 2016
The review of Inner Harbour swinging moorings is still ongoing due to the delays with the Homes and Communities led planned
Victoria Quay marina development in East Cowes. See chapter on ‘Port & Harbour Development’.
River moorings upgrades: Review potential to upgrade the mooring provision and optimise capacity at
Whitegates, Medham and the Folly. 2016-2017
All river moorings have been reviewed and recommended changes implemented. Continual monitoring will be carried out on
an annual basis.
River mooring services: Revisit the demand and cost benefi t from providing water supplies and electricity
to some of CHC’s Whitegates river pontoon moorings. 2017
This project is still under review.
RIB facilities: Revisit the demand and cost benefi t from providing water supplies and electricity
