COVER FEATURE__________________________________________________________________ DAUGHTER OF THE SOIL K nown as the daughter of the soil, her vision for the African Youth is for us to embrace our inner voice and stand up for our rights, a unified Africa through its youth’s voices and actions. I envision an African Youth at the forefront of leading major discoveries and developments across the globe and also in their respective countries, an educated Youth of Africa that never loses its morals and values of what really being African is, no matter their status or how high up the success ladder they climb. Elevated by the confirmation of Anisa Mazimpaka, the two-time UJ Graduate and student activist, who is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies in Public Policy and African studies as our next Cover Women. She makes the PERFECT cover for this issue, as we recently celebrated Youth Day. She holds an undergraduate in Business Information Technology as well as its relative Advanced Diploma (BTech) at the University of Johannesburg.
