2. Invest in Basics
What are basics? They don’t differ that far apart for each woman: long sleeve inners,
leggings, pumps, maxi dresses, skirts, broad pants, jeans – and others. Your basics should
be durable and long-lasting because they are the items you use most often. An
investment in good quality basics can save you money down the line. Even with basics
though, it’s always ideal to make sure you have enough, and keep the colours simple.
3. Be Trend Smart
Fashion trends require an entirely different
approach altogether. They fade as fast as they
appear. So if you’re on a budget, avoid
buying clothes that are trending if you
personally don’t like the look. It’s okay to
keep yourself authentic even during a trend
craze! If a trend does catch your eye though,
and continues to nag the fashionista inside
you, stick to accessories like belts or bags.
They are often more affordable, and with
some creativity, can make your wardrobe
more versatile. Seasonal trends like leopard
print, polka dots and florals are worth the
buy because you will use them time and time
again.
Fashion is what you buy. Style is what you do
with it.!
