Tourism employs 2.4 million citizens of
Caribbean nations, and because of recent
hurricanes many industry profession-
als are unemployed or working reduced
hours. Coordinated by Tourism Cares, the
Caribbean Tourism Recovery Fund is help-
ing restore resources and infrastructure
in order to maximize the destination’s
appeal—and get people back to work.
