Current exhibits include “Route 66: Main Street through St. Louis,” which explores the local history of the United States’ most famous historical highway through artifacts such as gas pumps, road signs and photographs. The exhibition will run through July 16, 2017. Opening in March is “#1 in Civil Rights: The African American Freedom Struggle in St. Louis,” which examines the history of racial justice in the city with the narratives of four precedentsetting Supreme Court cases that originated in St. Louis. Groups are eligible for discounts at the museum shop and restaurant. Tours, curator talks and catered events are available.
