There are hidden gems all over this county, little out
of the way places that are discovered a few people at a
time. The word spreads and it’s no longer a secret.

ne gem sits on Verona Road. It doesn’t look like
anything special from the road, but it is special. Inside
the Rock Creek Market, you’ll find Terry and Laura
Powers, owners of a quaint multi-purpose store.
Although the couple relocated here from Texas, they
have Marshall County ties. Terry was born and raised
in Estill Springs. He met his bride in Washington, D.C.
