There are lots of places to walk to from the
tearoom. Access is available to the Cromford

“If we are open, we don’t mind if you park and
walk, as long as you call in for something to eat
or drink when you return”. The car park is large
enough to accommodate car and bike clubs and
we often have groups visit us while out on a
run. Homesford Cottage Tea Rooms is run by
Rebecca Walton and is fairly unique in that, as
well as offering tasty food and drink, it also runs
textile workshops. The tea rooms specialise in
traditional Derbyshire food. Rebecca’s interest
in all things vintage, such as the crockery and
fashions, also extends to ancient Derbyshire
recipes, such as Wirksworth Thor Cake.
