A
s mentioned, this issue is all about resto-
ration of the hair. While wigs are a perfect
option to allow the hair to grow without
disruption, there are other natural options
which promote hair growth and which we would rec-
ommend for use. While you may be familiar with some,
others may be new to you. They all may provide amaz-
ing healing and health benefits.. Make sure to test for
any allergies before starting a regimen of new products.
As with any natural remedy, there’s no guarantee that
it will work for you, however, they all have been used
historically and modernly for their hair growing prop-
erties. Without further ado, here’s a list of our favorite
natural oils, which help to restore your hair and scalp
for healthy, new growth.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil has been
used as a natural
product for ages,
although
it
only
reached
common
use in the 1920’s,
and is making a
huge comeback in
the natural world.
Tea tree is native to
Australia and New
Zealand and the first recorded use is from
Captain James Cook from the early 1700’s.
Today, many are finding it’s natural remedies
to be more useful than store products.
Among all of its uses, Tea Tree Oil serves as
an antifungal. When dealing with lice or hair
conditions, this oil can be crucial in ending
hair problems. It also caters to dry scalp and
dandruff, and replenishing unhealthy hair.
If you are starting over natural, suffer from
hair conditions, or are trying to promote hair
growth, this oil should be the first product on
your list. Many love it for its tingly, cooling
sensation but remember it’s toxic if ingested,
so make sure it’s out of reach of children and
pets.

Jojoba Oil
This oil is definitely
one of our favorites
and probably the
least discussed. The
oil comes from the
Jojoba nut and can
serve two benefits to
our hair: a moisturizer
and a restorative
oil. The nut contains
vitamins
and
minerals, which can replenish our scalp and
moisturize for rejuvenation. It also serves as
a restorative property by promoting new hair
growth. It unblocks buildup that would hinder
our scalps from the proper growing process.
Simply adding this oil to your regimen would
completely change the texture, look and feel
of your hair.
Coconut Oil
Like they say, “have
a jar of Coconut Oil in
your pantry and a jar
in your bathroom.”
Coconut Oil not only
does wonders for
your health and diet
in cooking, but it can
provide the same for
your skin and your
hair. If your hair is damaged and lacking
protein, Coconut oil’s most important duty is
to restore loss of protein. This can be one of
the most important aspects in rejuvenating
your hair and why it feels so damaged. You
can also use this oil in a variety of ways. It
can serve as a deep conditioner or a grease
by massaging the oil to the hair for leave-in.
It also can be used before color treatments
to prevent excess damage. Thanks to the
design of coconut oil’s compounds (straight
instead of wiggly like other oils) it’s able to
penetrate the hair shaft adding a protective
layer. With all the benefits and uses of this
oil and easy access for purchasing, this is
an essential for every person.
