7. You mentioned in one interview that you were trying to get all of this information to your clients—do you think the general public knows much about where extensions come from? What have their responses to your research been like? Did people want to know where their hair came from and how it got to them? throughout your travels? The journey was an experience of a lifetime: outside of learning the process of hair extensions, the countries and the people were the most impressive part of the trip. Their family values, religious beliefs, and hope have given me a different outlook on life; I discovered a new sense of self and values. 5. What have been some of the biggest ways your thoughts about extensions have changed? Never trust the packaging but the brand’s reputation. The industry isn’t regulated, allowing vendors to label the hair as they wish. 6. While the majority of your research was for very high end extensions did you learn anything about the more budget side during your trips that you could share? There are certainly different qualities of hair extensions, and there is a use for every hair texture and quality.
