RETAIL BEAUTY CONSULTANT COURSES
BBIM (Beauty Business Industry Monitor) institute will be offering a training course for cosmetologists
who want to educate beauty consultants at the college level.
• The Beauty Consultant Training Instructor course is on a one-on-one mentor and mentee
basis, with a focus on learning how to develop a teaching program and make adjustments
based on the progress of each individual class.
• Candidates must be pre-approved, pass assessments, and demonstrate teaching potential
in order to be enrolled in the program.
• As an instructor, you may teach at your local community college and career development
institute.

Beauty 104: Beauty Consultant Training Instructor
Qualifications:
Must be pre-approved in order to register
Cosmetology License
Must have at least 2 years of retail experience
Must finish the prerequisite courses
of Beauty 101, 102, and 103 at BBIM
60 hours of internship as
assistant instructor
