his season we went behind the scenes at Plitzs’ New York Fashion Week. Plitzs runs an impressive
show during the NY Fashion Week to showcase 20 plus (number needs to be checked) designers.
Instead of showcasing one designer, they run several shows consecutively. One of the things we
love about Plitzs is that the organization works to make Fashion Week accessible to a broader
range of people—whether that’s designers debuting their first collection or makeup artists and stylists who
are just getting into the field. We spoke with several of the makeup artists, stylists, and teachers backstage
to get an idea of what it’s like to experience Plitzs first hand.
