the face, while the cool weather brings dry skin and
scalp to the forefront. Just as the seasons change,
so should your skincare routine. Finding new body

The Green Coconut & Activated Charcoal Purifying
& Hydrating collection was specifically created to
providing wellness to every part of your body. This
collection features not just hair products, but also for
your body and face. The focus for this collection are
green coconut and activated charcoal, both known
for producing great results when organically used.
Activated Charcoal lifts dirt, excess oil and product
build-up to detoxify and improve the appearance of
skin and hair. Green coconut contains rich vitamins
and fatty acids while replenishing moisture softens
the body. As most Shea Moisture products, the ingre-
dients omits sulfates, parabens, phthalates, propylene
glycol, synthetic fragrances and artificial coloring.

The collection features 16 products, and we got the
chance to test four of them. Here’s how they can im-
prove your Fall skin and rejuvenate your well being.
Purifying and Hydrating In-Shower Mask
Activated Charcoal is highly popularized for its
benefits to the face. Most use this in the form of a
peeling mask. This product was our first and highly
-anticipated out of the collection. The in-shower
mask comes in two forms: the full-size product jar
and the one-time packet. While the jar has more
product, the packet does not require dipping hands
in and proves to be less messy.
This product is meant to be used in the shower, but
before using, your face does require basic cleaning.
When applying, the product will not come on similar
to the color. It will apply more like a gloss rather than
a full, black face. After applying and taking a show-
er, before exiting and turning off the water, you can
rinse the mask off your face there. After use, we’ve
noticed really smooth skin and a hydrated look. The
masks need to be used multiple times to see how they
influence your face, the one-time application made a
big difference with the seasons changing.
