In the beauty show runway, ABW production models
wore clothing designed by Andre Fulton and makeup
by sponsors. Models were featured in all ages with
the most memorable being the children who put a
smile on the viewers faces. The association took care
of the many guests and arranged a delicious finger
food spread that allowed attendees could eat more
easily. It was very impressive to watch the event,
which was held for two hours without hardly anyone
taking a seat. Even after the event, everyone was sad
it was over and said they could not easily sit down.
which does not understand the depth of it emotion-
ally. “
The harmony of this show between the two eth-
nicities was just what this community needed. If the
African Americans and Korean communities create
an opportunity to truly communicate through these
events, the understanding of cultures and respect
towards the progressive state of the beauty industry
will flow smoothly. We are already look ing forward
to seeing the CPBSA beauty show, which will return
next year.
Sul Young Soon, the chairperson of the preparatory
committee for this show, said, “Because Korean and
American sentiments are different, there are no gath-
erings of the two totally different ethnicities. There-
fore, it is necessary to have a pleasant effort like this
event, and I feel a bit embarrassed about our industry
