My inspiration to blog is the positive
impact that I am creating on those
who read my words. Essentially, my
readers are my inspiration to continue
to blog because I’ve always wanted
Manly Curls to be an online resource
for everyone
write a second book that would be of use to any male
worldwide at any given moment of his lifetime and
whether he ha d straight hair or the curliest of all curly
types. This was to be the “mother” of all books on
men’s hair.
While I wrote The Curly Hair Book with a more
personal and up-close approach so that any curly guy
reading my words could relate to the book via my own
personal experiences, I wrote The Men’s Hair Book in a
more-formal manner so as to dig deep into all the tidbits
of being able to have aesthetic hair as a male. I wanted The Men’s Hair Book to be a book that you could
pick any time from your bookshelf and quickly search
for the answer to any question that may have suddenly
popped into your mind.
The idea with The Men’s Hair Book was to make it
an encyclopedia-like book that would have all the answers to your questions, no matter how trivial or specific your question were to be. I went as far as to include
real-life case studies at the end of every chapter that illustrate the topic taught in the chapter. These case studies are from my own experience working with a barber
and come in handy to the reader so as to help the reader
to better digest and understand the concepts from each
chapter. The feedback from the book has been great,
and the book has been embraced by many bloggers
and male-grooming forums as the reading reference for
men’s hair. All that aside, I’m just happy that the book
is serving its purpose: to help men find the answers to
their questions on everything to do with their hair.
5. What inspired you to write The Curly
Hair Book and The Men’s Hair Book?
Just as it was with Manly Curls, my readers were my
main inspiration to write both .... As I mentioned earlier, my goal with these two books has been to continue to spread the word and help anyone who wants to
make the most of his hair no matter where in the world
he may be or what type of hair he may have. Both my
books as well as both my blogs (ManlyCurls.com and
MensHairBlog.com) are there to help people and give
them all the necessary knowledge on their hair; in fact,
that was my objective from the very beginning when I

created Manly Curls and published my first article on
that site.
Having the support of people who believed in me and
in my ideas was crucial for me to be able to complete
my books and offer them to anyone in dire need of help
or thirst for knowledge. Furthermore, my readers have
been extremely supportive and many of them keep me
updated on their improvements, which, again, makes
me really happy to know and see how they’ve improved
a part of their life after having read what I had to say
to the world.
