S
pring may still be just a flicker of light in the
distance, but Pantone has released it’s Spring
color forecast! We’re already excited to see these
colors in action. This year’s theme is vibrancy
paired with grounding stability, which makes sense given
the chosen colors. Much of the palette features the usual
pale pinks and blues that you expect in the spring but with a
few inspiring pops. A bright, orange tone red and a vibrant
green are the two most unusual colors in the collection.
This collection will translate seamlessly to beauty,
whether it be polish, blush, lipstick or hair color. Pastels
and alternative colors are still quite popular in hair, and
with colors like Rose Quartz, Peach Echo, and Serenity,
we think they’ll continue to be on trend. If you’re looking
for a more unique approach for hair and makup based on
the spring colors, we recommend taking a look at Snorkel
Blue and Limpet Shell. These two vibrant blues will look
amazing as hair colors and as makeup. While teal based
eye-colors can invoke the bad parts of the 80’s, when done
carefully they look modern and fresh. We’ve rounded up
some of our favorite looks featuring the colors on the
runway as well as a few products you may want to try!
